Macassar Pottery, as a social enterprise, has a dual social impact. Internally, we upskill community members (un-schooled youth in particular), employ and incubate them as business owners. Our external impact relates to using our tourism platform and products to create visible change in the community through authentic and locally owned experiences. Both levels of impact rely on building a sustainable, strong, community-based business. We are not funding dependent.
