Are we there yet?.. PitStop is a happy stopover on the most scenic coastal drive in the world, Clarence drive (R44).

Stop, stretch, linger or dash. We are proudly patriotic, eco-conscious and a place with many unexpected discoveries.

The PitStop Lodge was painted in midnight black so that the stars could shine brighter at night.

Ample parking for Car Clubs, bikers, trikers, cyclists and anyone that believes the journey is more important than the destination. We offer weekday specials at our Grille Shack restaurant for motor enthusiast who book as a group.

Our mood is retro with a touch of nostalgia. We value living in a slower moment and taking care of each other.

PitStop Lodge is a place where your canine bestie can also stretch his legs. We are doodling and dreaming about our eco-conscious glamping pods…… As soon as funds permit…

Our evocative claim that any lover of the road can relate to.

Clarence Drive is a road hugged by mountains and salty waves….and sometimes baboons. At PitStop we respect the inhabitants of this fragile bio-sphere and do our best to live in harmony with them.
